Happy New Year!
2012 was quite a year! Screening “Friends I Haven’t Met” at the Coolidge was definitely the highlight, but lots of new projects and collaborations made it an excellently productive year.
I had a great time recently collaborating with the Levinson Brothers and Rob Kutner for a music video starring Colin Hanks and Kimmy Gatewood. The song, “Divorce Makes a Family Twice as Big” is from Rob and the Levinson Brothers new album, “It’s OK To Do Stuff: Songs Left Off Free To Be You And Me” thats available on iTunes. Proceeds from the sales of the album go to St. Jude’s Hospital.
The artwork was drawn by Fred Grandinetti, and I animated the drawings in After Effects. It was my first foray into this type of animation, and I’m really happy with the way it turned out. Check it out, hope you enjoy!
